Hello Friends, and Welcome...

When we stumbled across 'Home Farm' in 2016, we had no plans of creating a business around it. In fact, our only thought was how perfect the pond, creek, and land would be for our fur baby Rocco to run and play in. But, we quickly fell in love with Leesburg, and realized we needed to share our passion for the area and the goodness produced by its farmers, craftspeople, and artisans with our family, friends, and neighbors. 

We are working towards an immersive bed and breakfast farm experience where we can highlight our community and sustainable, locally produced goods for a changing environment. We will keep you updated as we grow into this dream!

In the mean time, we are building a foundation of heirloom and ethnocultural crops showcased in immersive gardens, demonstrating permaculture and sustainable farming practices. Our goal is to not only promulgate the goodness of unique and hard to find heirloom  and cultural crops, but also to provide hands-on training and ideas for their incorporation into backyard gardens. 

With this approach, we hope to help ensure the survival of these crops, the knowledge and history of their production,  their genetic diversity, and the sustainable practices used to nurture them in as many backyard growing environments as possible, instituting local sustainability, one backyard at a time.
